Every year, between 20 – 50 million tons of e-waste are being generated worldwide and this figure is growing at around 4% per annum. As China and other emerging markets rapidly industrialise, this figure looks set to balloon. Computers, mobile phones, televisions, and many other electronic goods enter the waste stream annually; adding to the waste stress.
